Touch screen functionality expansion...ok...but not a big help to me. The mouse is also a pain in the neck to me. To me, the greatest breakthru with the most benefits would be voice control over the menu options/ navigation. Also a concern for visually impaired persons that web design navigation will be even more of a myriad of blockades to bypass to go directly to a "tabbed" subject.

Re: Future tech: Computing in the next decade I completely agree with Garic Desktop pc's are where its at. You just cant fit the newer highend graphics cards into a laptop nor have the space in the laptop to keep it cool. I think if they made voice recognition more simplified it would be at the top of the market.

Re: Future tech: Computing in the next decade Why would you want a computer screen smudged up with fingerprints?

I can't hardly wait to have to touch my screen and get a sore arm with all that back and forth noise when I simply just use my mouse! Not all improvements that these geek idiots make up are benificial improvements. I thought they were going to say something like....you just speak at the puter and get web sites up or just give the puter verbal commands to certain web sites. But noooooo!
